By booking an appointment and paying a deposit you are automatically agreeing to my Terms & Conditions. If you have any questions about any of my policies please feel free to contact me directly.
DEPOSITS
A nonrefundable deposit is required for every booking. This secures your time slot in my diary, meaning no one else can book that appointment. Your service hasn't been confirmed until I have received a deposit and I can't reserve a day or time slot without a deposit. With over 48 hours notice a deposit can be transferable to another appointment.
A deposit for a full face and special occasions makeup service is £10 per person.
The deposit for a 1 - 1 makeup lesson is £25 per person.
A bridal makeup deposit is £50 per booking.
TRAVEL
I am a mobile makeup artist, meaning I am not salon based and I travel to you for the appointment. From 5 miles (a 10 mile return journey) £1.50 will be charged per additional mile - you will be notified if a travel charge applies to your booking and the cost of this prior to your appointment.
If there is no free parking available, I do ask that you cover the cost of parking as well. This charge will also be added to your overall bill. If you are aware that there is no free parking available at your location please let me know in advance.
UNSOCIABLE HOURS
Bookings or appointments that require travel between 7 - 8.30am have an additional charge of £25.
Bookings or appointments that require travel before 7am have an additional charge of £50.
Bank holidays have an additional charge of £50 per booking.
PRICES
Prices advertised are my current prices (2024/2025). My prices will increase annually based on my level of training, experience, quality of my kit and product price increases. For 2026 prices or enquiries please contact me directly.
PRODUCTS
I use high quality, tried and tested products within my kit. I am always happy to use one of your products if you have something in particular that you love to use or want to use to touch up your makeup later! However, my prices aren't reduced if you bring some of your own products for me to use.
I kindly ask that you don't touch my kit or try to apply any of my products yourself unless given permission by me. My kit has to be kept sanitary and hygienic to prevent cross contamination and keep it to a high standard for all of my clients. I have undertaken health & safety and hygiene courses in order to maintain this throughout my practice. Some products can't be used out of the pot hygienically and have to be decanted. If any of my kit is compromised by the client or any of their party (regardless of if they are also using my services) then you will be responsible for covering the cost of the product.
I aim to use as many cruelty free and vegan products within my kit as possible, although my kit isn't fully cruelty free and vegan (this is something that I'm currently working towards though!). If this is something that is very important to you - particularly for vegan products - please let me know in advance of your appointment so I can accommodate this.
ALLERGIES & SENSITIVTIES
If you have any relevant allergies or sensitivities I ask that you notify me prior to your appointment. This gives me time to make sure I'm not bringing any products that could give you a reaction to your booking or to make sure that we aren't using those products on you. It's easiest to let me know of any and all allergies - even if you don't think they're relevant - including, but not limited to, allergies to latex, nuts, fruits, fragrances, etc. Please be aware for all bookings that I have a dog - if someone has a serious dog hair allergy please let me know in advance so I can bring a change of clothes.
SKIN CONDITIONS
Please be aware that if you have a contagious skin condition or an open wound I will not be able to apply makeup on you. This is due to the risk of infection and cross contamination within my kit and products, which could pass the condition onto other clients. This includes, but isn't limited to, impetigo, ringworm, chickenpox/ shingles, cold sores, bad facial sunburn. If I am concerned about a skin condition or wound and you can't show evidence that it's an existing or non-contagious skin condition I reserve the right to cancel your appointment. Please let me know in advance if you develop one of these conditions so we can reschedule your appointment.
CANCELLATIONS
I will not be able to give you a refund of your deposit if you cancel an appointment. This is because by holding the date and time I am now unlikely to be able to fill this time slot. With more than 48 hours notice deposits can be transferrable to another appointment.
I have never cancelled a client (and hope to never have to!) but there is always a possibility of sickness, accidents or a family emergency. In the event that I become unable to attend your appointment you will receive a full refund of all costs paid at that time. I will also use my industry contacts to try my best to find you a replacement makeup artist for the same date.
I reserve the right to cancel or leave an appointment if I feel unsafe or harassed. In the event of this situation you will not receive a deposit refund and will still be liable to cover any appointments that have already taken place.
